Welcome to Cat Care Clinic of Naples. Whether you’ve just adopted your first kitten or you’re bringing a cat who has already seen a few veterinarians, we’re glad you found us. We’re a cat-exclusive hospital, which means the moment you walk in, there are no dogs, no barking, and nothing to tell your cat this is anything but safe. Here’s what to expect from your first visit with us.
Before Your Visit
We’ll ask for a few details ahead of time — your cat’s history, current medications, and any records from a previous veterinarian. Completing your paperwork before you arrive means less time in the lobby and more time with your cat, which is better for everyone. Reach out if you’d like help gathering records.
Getting Your Cat Here Calmly
The carrier is usually the hardest part. Leave it out at home as everyday furniture rather than producing it on appointment day. Add a familiar blanket. Cover it with a towel in the car to reduce visual stress. Small things, real difference — and we’re happy to talk through what works for your particular cat.
What to Bring
Bring your cat in a secure carrier, along with any medical records, a current medication list, and the name of your cat’s food. If your cat is coming in for a specific concern, a note or a short video of the behavior at home is genuinely useful. Cats rarely perform their symptoms on cue.
Your Cat's First Exam
Your first visit is unhurried. We’ll let your cat come out of the carrier on their own terms, take a full history, and complete a nose-to-tail feline exam. We’ll talk through what we find in plain language, recommend what’s appropriate for their life stage, and build a plan together. Expect questions, and expect to be listened to.
After Your Visit
You’ll leave knowing exactly what we found, what we recommend, and what comes next. We’ll send you home with clear instructions and stay reachable if questions come up later. And the next time you call, we’ll know your cat’s name — and their history — without having to look it up.
