Surgery performed by a feline-only team.
Handing your cat over for surgery is hard. What makes it easier is knowing the team on the other side of that door does this for one species, every day — with protocols, drug dosing, monitoring, and recovery care calibrated specifically for feline patients. Cats are not small dogs, and this is especially important when it comes to surgery.
Spay & Neuter
Spaying and neutering are among the most common procedures we perform, and among the most beneficial. Beyond preventing unwanted litters, they substantially reduce the risk of mammary cancer, uterine infection, and spraying behavior. We’ll recommend the right timing for your cat based on age, health, and individual circumstances.
Soft Tissue Surgery
Soft tissue procedures cover the skin, abdominal organs, and other non-bone structures — mass removals, wound repairs, bladder stone removal, foreign body retrieval, and exploratory surgery. We use precise techniques and continuous monitoring to keep each procedure as safe and minimally invasive as possible, with thorough aftercare to support healing.
Anesthesia
Anesthesia is the concern we hear most, and cats metabolize anesthetic drugs differently than other species. Every patient receives a pre-anesthetic exam and bloodwork, a protocol chosen for their individual health, and continuous monitoring of vitals throughout. No anesthesia is risk-free. Feline-specific expertise is how we minimize that risk.
Surgical Pain Management
Pain control isn’t something we add afterward; it’s built into the plan from the start. We use multimodal, feline-appropriate medications before, during, and after every procedure. Cats managed well for pain heal faster, eat sooner, and return to themselves more quickly. It’s not a comfort measure. It’s medicine.
Recovery & Aftercare
Recovery happens in a quiet space, monitored by people who know what a comfortable cat looks like. Before you head home, we’ll walk through medications, activity restrictions, incision care, and exactly what to watch for. And we’ll check in — because the days after surgery matter as much as the hours during it.

Expert, feline-focused care.
We know what it feels like to leave your cat with us. That’s why we explain the procedure fully, answer every question honestly, and stay reachable throughout the day. If your cat needs a procedure and you have questions — about anesthesia, about risk, about anything — we’re always willing to talk it through.
