Tooth Resorption
Resorption is one of the most common and most painful conditions in cats, affecting a large share of adult felines. The tooth structure breaks down from within, often beneath healthy-looking gums. It’s rarely visible without radiographs, and extraction is the only effective treatment. Cats with resorption often don’t show obvious signs.
